Gluten Free/ Casein Free Camp NEW!        June 16-21
A traditional week of camp for children and youth with sensitivities to foods containing gluten and casein! The only camp of its kind in Michigan, this week promises all the fun of Camp Westminster, with food accurately and sensitively prepared by experienced cooks. Note the Monday start date.
More information on this week of camp available here.

Performing Arts        June 22-28
Be dramatic, sing, and make music as part of this year's musical written with the camp theme, "Handle With Care" ! Play with us too: swim, canoe, participate in arts and crafts, and nature exploration. The musical will be performed for guests on Saturday morning, June 28, at the close of camp, at 10:00am.

South Manitou Island Trip      June 22-28
A favorite trip among campers... many bring a friend or two! Build teamwork on the Initiatives Course before setting off on the ferry to South Manitou Island in Lake Michigan. Hike and explore the island. Experience the incredible dunes. Pitch your tent at a rustic campsite before cooking your dinner over an open fire. Our qualified staff will share skills and techniques necessary to survive the island!

Pioneer Heritage (Coed)        July 6-19
Sleep in a platform tent, build fires to cook some of your own meals, and live in the community known as 'Rustic'. Stuff your pack and head out on the Au Sable for a few days too. Keep your eye out for beavers as you float (or paddle!) on one of northern Michigan's most awesome rivers! Depending on which ChooseIt! you work on, this trip may be a canoe or a kayak trip.
[Limited to 12 campers]

Just Camp Plus        July 6-19  (2 weeks!)
What a hit last year's two-week sessions were! Make your best 2 weeks of the summer and take
advantage of all the fun times Camp Westminster has to offer- swim, canoe/ kayak, climb, create, observe nature and participate in all of CW's traditions. Plus, ChooseIt! is back: you pick a skill to focus on for part of each day. Improve your skills in one area and enjoy all the variety Camp has to offer the rest of the time!

Sailing I        July 6-19
Join our fun-loving sailing instructors as they set sail on Higgins Lake each afternoon! For new sailors or beginners who wish to spend more time on their skills. Achieve your beginning sailing rank during this camp. Embark on a daytrip to Grand Traverse Bay to raise the anchor, hoist the sails and rotate through crew positions as you learn to sail a traditionally rigged historic vessel, the
Friendship Sloop Liberty. Register EARLY- this camp had a waiting list last year!

Wet 'n Wild I        July 20-26
Come north and cool down during the hot days of July. Volley the ball over the net in the lake and sing around the campfire! Arts & crafts, sports and archery too
.

Upper Peninsula Expedition   July 20-26
See spectacular waterfalls, lighthouses, incredible rock formations, and breathtaking vistas from high up on the cliffs. Walk the dunes and beaches  and hike through cool beech-maple forests. You'll be awe-inspired by the beauty and greatness of God's creation, seeing sights accessible only by foot. Trip leaders will guide the participants to enjoy the outdoors in a safe, responsible way, emphasizing 'Leave No Trace' camping ethics and reinforcing Christian values throughout the experience.

Artists @ Work        August 3-9
Calling all creative campers! Spend extra time in the Craft Cabin in addition to all of the other fun activities at camp. Contribute your talent to a collaborative creative project for Camp Westminster. Last year's camp painted the backboard on the tennis courts- thank you! What an amazing project!

Wet n'Wild II        August 3-9
One of our most popular camps is now available in August! Make plans to come to Higgins Lake to swim, canoe, kayak and play in the water- when it is really hot! This is a great time to be at CW- make plans to bring a friend along.

Guard Start Option:
For strong swimmers who want to complete a pre-lifeguard program sponsored by the American Red Cross, work on your swim strokes, learn safe conduct in the water, water rescue and first aid. Crucial skills for any lifeguard-in-training! The best part about this week is that you still get to enjoy all the fun and social times that CW offers too! Note: Camper must demonstrate adequate swimming ability to complete the Guard Start portion of the program.
