Skills Development
June 20- July 3
[Year 3 of the
Leadership Track]
(16-18 years or completed 10-12th grades)

Love to sail? Live to climb? Want to know more about trees, water and God's creatures? Eager to lead an outtrip on a river or on the trail? Gifted in the creative arts? Spend 2 weeks working on 2 of these skills either for fun or as part of the leadership track on the way to a role as a camp counselor. Camp Westminster needs leaders who can make a nature hike fun, facilitate young climbers and instruct sailors. (This session can be in addition to Leadership Development Training or on its own.)

Westminster Service Corps I
July 11-24 (two weeks)
(16-18 years or completed 10-12th grades)

Westminster Service Corps II
July 25-31 (one week)
(16-18 years or completed 10-12th grades)

Is God calling you to service this summer? Experience CW behind the scenes!  WSC is designed to maximize your servant leadership potential!  Spend about 4-6 hours each day working on special projects around camp. Be ready to do what it takes. But all work and no play doesn't fulfill God's plan...enjoy crazy times, silly fun and deep discussions too, with staff who are here for you.

Climbing Camp
August 1-7

(14-16 years)

Learn the intricacies of climbing and belay techniques, building confidence on our own "Lighthouse Climb" artificial wall while residing at camp. Then take an overnight trip to climb on some real rock cliffs! Our top notch facilitators will safely teach the nuts & bolts to beginners and help intermediate climbers hone their skills on top-roped climbs, using the adventure to build personal growth physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Leadership Development
August 1-13

[Year 2 of the Leadership Track]
(16-17 years or completed 10-12th grades)

For over 13 years, Camp Westminster's Leadership Development Training has given youth invaluable skills for the future. If you desire life challenge, growth in your faith, responsibility and hard work, this is for you. Learn how to work with children and community-building techniques. Pick an area to focus on: sailing, climbing or other- CW needs leaders with camp skills! Conquer the Initiatives and High Ropes Courses and embark on an outtrip. Cover skills such as packing, map reading, cooking, paddling, tent setup and more. Above all, be challenged to deeper faith exploration! Go home with new friends you'll keep in touch with for a lifetime (just ask some of our alumni...) Guided by a dedicated staff chosen for their example as servant leaders, they will push you to strengthen the abilities God gave you.
