Take advantage of all the fun camp offers and participate in our wonderful Camp Westminster traditions, while enjoying great food free from worry. We are able to satisfy your camper's dietary needs with menu options that support a wide variety of food allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances. Our Special Foods Team has experience safely preparing meals free of various allergens including gluten, wheat, dairy, casein, soy, egg, tree nut, peanut, and others. We'll handle the food- your child is "Free To Be" just a kid at camp!

South Manitou Island Expedition (Level I)
A favorite first-time trip among campers... many bring a friend or two! Build teamwork on the Initiatives Course before setting off on the ferry to South Manitou Island in Lake Michigan. Hike and explore the island. Experience the incredible dunes. Pitch your tent at a rustic campsite before cooking your dinner over an open fire. Our qualified staff will share skills and techniques necessary to survive the island!
Performing Arts
Be dramatic, sing, and make music as part of this year's musical written with the camp theme. Play with us too: swim, canoe, participate in arts and crafts, and nature exploration. The musical will be performed for guests on Saturday morning, at the close of camp, at 10:00am.
Worldwide Sports
What a success- campers LOVED this week last summer! A week of sports from around the world... includes instruction and scrimmages in soccer (football to our British staff!), rugby, cricket, tennis and/or basketball. Plus, water sports! Of course, you'll do the High Ropes Course and the Lighthouse Climb and more too.
Just Camp Plus

Plus, ChooseIt! is available: you pick a skill to focus on for part of each day. Improve your skills in one area and enjoy all the variety Camp has to offer the rest of the time! Take a trip on the Au Sable River to work on your paddling and outdoor living skills.
Sailing I & II
Join our fun-loving sailing instructors as they set sail on Higgins Lake each afternoon! For new sailors or beginners who wish to learn how to rig a boat, sailing theory, and the basics of sailing: achieve your beginning sailing rank during this camp. Intermediate sailors may also work on their skills during this 2-week session. (Campers must pass a swim test to participate fully in the sailing program.)
Pre-Leadership Development Training (completed grade 9)
[Year 1 of the Leadership Track]
Spend time at CW exploring the qualities of a servant leader, then spend time on a 3-day trek along the Au Sable River. Small group discussion will focus on leadership and how a growing faith can guide life's challenges. Make some of the closest friends for life and spend time with wonderful leaders who love you. Will you rise to the challenge and embark on the leadership track at Camp Westminster? Come and see what God has in store for you.
Outdoor Cooking
We know how many of our campers love to cook! Come for this session and learn to cook over fires, in dutch ovens, in solar ovens, in underground ovens (mmm, bread anyone?), make ice cream and use fresh food from the camp garden pots! Stay in Rustic in platform tents and learn to set up a wilderness "kitchen." You still get to climb, swim, boat and create too. Sounds like a tasty week, doesn't it?
Wet 'n Wild
Come north and cool down during the hot days of July. Volley the ball over the net in the lake and sing around the campfire! Arts & crafts, sports and archery too. Includes a one-day canoe trip on the beautiful Au Sable River.
Guard Start Option: For strong swimmers who want to complete a pre-lifeguard program sponsored by the American Red Cross, work on your swim strokes, learn safe conduct in the water, water rescue and first aid. Crucial skills for any lifeguard-in-training! The best part about this week is that you still get to enjoy all the fun and social times that CW offers too! Note: Camper must demonstrate adequate swimming ability to complete the Guard Start portion of the program.
Sailing Regatta
This week of camp is for those who are excellent
swimmers and have experience sailing. Time will be focused primarily in
practice on Higgins Lake. Plan to maximize water time with all sorts of
sailing challenges!
Upper Peninsula Expedition: Pictured Rocks (Level II)

You'll be awe-inspired by the beauty and greatness of God's creation, seeing sights accessible only by foot. Trip leaders will guide the participants to enjoy the outdoors in a safe, responsible way, emphasizing 'Leave No Trace' camping ethics and reinforcing Christian values throughout the experience.

area often called the Midwest's Yellowstone. Try out your climbing
skills here top-roping free standing pinnacles, chimneys, and quartzite
