Family Camp
Essential to the growth and togetherness of any family is time. These days, family time is scarce. Camp Westminster's Family Camp was created over 50 years ago to give families time together, away from the hectic pace of everyday life. We try to offer the perfect balance of structured program for kids of all ages and freedom to relax and explore together. Come swim, paddle, hike in the woods and enjoy the lakefront with us! No cooking (unless you want to bake homemade pies and churn old fashioned ice cream together) and no advance planning: just a peaceful time up north! How about a cookout- standard to Camp Westminster on Wednesday night? Come enjoy a Talent Show- bring any talent to share or just eat pie and ice cream! There will be adult Bible Study discussion time and separate studies for the children and youth. Take this opportunity to unwind and appreciate the joys of Christian community and the magnificence of God's creation all around you. Choose your family's activities each morning at breakfast, either separately or as a unit. We provide lodging, programming, meals and adult time every evening (individual storytime for younger children included).

Family Mission Weekend- NEW!
Here is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with children/grandchildren or any family member while using your hands and talents to serve God! Join us for a weekend of service- both at Camp Westminster and in the local community. We will also contribute to a national mission project during our time together. Instilling a heart for service and mission in children of all ages has many benefits... come and experience the joy of giving to others with your energy!
We promise tasty meals, time on Higgins Lake and enjoying all that camp has to offer (canoeing, swimming archery, games, hikes, crafts), as well as family worship each evening. August is one of the most beautiful months on Higgins Lake- don't miss this opportunity.
(Open to all ages- there will be projects for even the smallest of hands, as well as childcare for infants. We welcome all family unit types at Camp Westminster.
