RENTING CAMP WESTMINSTER

Worthington Lodge is available year-round for rental and is an excellent place for all group gatherings!

 

The lodge sleeps 34 in three large bunkrooms and has two meeting rooms and a kitchen. Other spaces may also be available during the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall.

Rental Rates

Worthington Lodge is $560 per night with a $225 cleaning fee.

What’s Included?

All retreats and rentals include the use of grounds and reserved facilities. Some pasts of camp are always available; hiking on-site or locally, tennis and basketball courts, gaga ball, and the labyrinth. Worthington Lodge has a screen for presentations and wireless internet.

Lake access from camp property is only available to guests who provide a lifeguard. Due to our licensing and accreditation, any lake use at camp must be supervised by a currently certified lifeguard. North Higgins Lake State Park is nearby and does not require a lifeguard.

Area Attractions

There are several museums and natural sites near Camp Westminster that are worth visiting, like Hartwick Pines State Park, the CCC Museum, and Wellington Farm Park. Traverse City and Mackinac Island are 1 1/2 hours away by car. Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore is 2 hours away. Nearby Grayling and Roscommon also provide recreational activities such as golfing, bike trails, movie theaters, and restaurants.

Westminster is also an excellent hub for snow sports and winter activities like ice skating, sledding, skiing, or snowshoeing. Groups are welcome to bring their own equipment or rent equipment from the Higgins Lake Cross Country Ski Headquarters or the nearby Hanson Hills Recreation Area. 

Seasonal Availability

Camp Westminster is driven by the seasons. Most of camp is not winterized and is only open May-September. Worthington Lodge is our one winterized building that is open all year.

 

Our mission centers around summer camp and parts of camp may not be available to rental groups during the summer.
