Essential to the growth and togetherness of any family is time. These days, family time is scarce. Camp Westminster’s Family Camp was created over 50 years ago to give families time together, away from the hectic pace of everyday life. We try to offer the perfect balance of structured programs for kids of all ages and the freedom to relax and explore together. Come swim, paddle, hike in the woods, and enjoy the lakefront with us!

What is a week of Family Camp like? Fun, hilarious, relaxing, wet, positive, fun, action-packed, silly, contemplative, creative, fun, and active…and did we say fun? The great thing about Family Camp is it can be as high-energy or as relaxing as you want—you choose the activities! Scale the Lighthouse Climb, enjoy a sunset boat cruise around Higgins Lake, or spend some time relaxing in a rocking chair on the Waterfront Porch. Each morning at breakfast you will have the opportunity to choose your family’s activities, either separately or as a unit. There will also be time set aside for adult Bible Study and separate studies for children and youth. Evenings will be filled with campfires, gourmet s’mores, and fun group activities. Enjoy fellowship and community during adult time each night (there will be individual storytime provided for younger children). Take this opportunity to unwind and appreciate the joys of the Christian community and the magnificence of God’s creation all around you.

What activities are offered? Swimming, sailing, arts & crafts, high ropes, Lighthouse Climb, nature walks, kayaking, canoeing, archery, soccer, homemade ice cream churning, campfires, fishing, and more!

Where will we stay? We have several different lodging options oozing with rustic charm and a view you can’t beat! Click here to learn more. Sound of waves lapping on the shore included! (Make your family plans early; cabins are reserved quickly!)

What will we eat? Leave the cooking up to us (unless you want to bake homemade pies and churn old-fashioned ice cream together)! We’ll gather together for each meal shared family-style in the Dining Hall. Meals are nutritious, delicious, and can accommodate food allergies and intolerances. We’ll also enjoy meals outdoors during the Wednesday night cookout and a waterfront picnic lunch. Yum!

What’s provided? Everything! Family Camp is all-inclusive: meals, lodging, programming, activities, and childcare are included in the program fee. This is your time for a peaceful retreat up north!
