Introducing New Staff: Lisa Turner and Marna Nemon

by Adam Delezenne

Our small year-round Camp Westminster team has grown again. This month we were excited to welcome a new Office Administrator and Registrar!

Lisa Turner is our new Office Administrator, a role that is now shared between the church and camp offices. She will be the first point of contact if you call the camp office or email us. Lisa brings 18-plus years of experience in church administration and Christian Education, focusing on programming for children and families. Lisa and her husband, Scott, live in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, where they raised their three children. When she is not at work, Lisa enjoys gardening, taking their dog Mollie for walks, and is an avid reader.

Marna Nemon is our Registrar and is diligently working on getting registration set up for the summer! If you have trouble getting signed up for summer camp or accessing your account, Marna will be happy to help you. She is a former camper and counselor and has also sent her children to camp! Marna is a retired Librarian with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. She lives in Clarkston with her husband Mark of nearly 30 years, their retired Leader Dogs for The Blind Labrador mom, and two funny cats. Marna is actively involved in the Oakland University Libraries Board of Advocacy and Resource Development, tends and maintains a pollinator habitat garden, and cherishes time with family when they can be together cooking and dining at home as simply one of the best things in life.

I’m excited to have them both on the team!
