Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Westminster! You’re off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You’re here to have fun! Don’t forget closed-toed shoes!
It’s opener here in the wide open air.
Lighthouse
Out here good things happen and frequently do to people as brainy and footsy as you. OH! THE WAYS YOU WILL GROW! You’ll be on your way up! You’ll be seeing great sights! From the top of the Lighthouse, the sun shining bright. And if you’re hung up in a pricklely perch, with your new friends at camp, you’ll not be in a lurch. Oh, the ways you will grow! There is fun to be done! Archery, zip-lining, or hit a home run! And the magical things you can do with new skills like learning to fish, or hiking up hills. Or you can hike to new places and spaces. Or climb to the top of real-life rock faces! And will you develop and grow when it’s done? Yes! You will! AND you’ll have fun! KID, YOU’LL MOVE MOUNTAINS! So…be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Brayor Mordecai Ali Van Allen O’Shea, you’re off to a great place! Today is your day! Your summer is waiting. So…get on your way! Get Growing! Visit www.campwestminster.com to register for summer camp today! This good-humored poem has been adapted by Rachel Leads from Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”
