Whether your child has sailing experience or has never set foot in a boat before, each of Camp Westminster’s overnight sailing camp programs is designed to teach basic sailing skills through more advanced techniques—depending on your camper’s individual needs. During our programs, young people ages 12-17 spend their days learning sailing skills on land (tying knots, parts of the boat, boating etiquette), as well as on the lake, where they sail our fleet of Aquafins, Sloops, and Lightnings. Experienced and carefully trained sailing instructors are on hand to navigate the lake with campers in accordance with the US Sailing program. In addition to sailing, campers are able to explore all that Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake has to offer.

Camp Westminster is ready for you to climb aboard and experience the thrill of having the wind in your sails.
