A very special part of Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake’s ministry is the weekly Westminster by the Lake worship services, held in the serenity of the outdoor chapel on the shores of Higgins Lake. Beginning the fourth Sunday in June and ending the second Sunday in August. We welcome several guest preachers to our unique place of worship to lead us in lively worship, engaging messages, and powerful prayer.

Time

Worship services begin at 11 am but we advise that you arrive at 10:45 am at the latest to ensure you have time to park and be escorted to the chapel.

Directions

By Car:

We are located on North Higgins Lake DriveFrom I-75:4.7 miles west of exit 244 on Interstate 75. We are on the left, approximately 1 mile from the Dairy Queen and Gas Station. If you reach North Higgins State Park you’ve gone too far. From U.S. Route 127:1.5 miles east of exit 206 on U.S. Route 127. We are on the right side of the road just a half mile from North Higgins State Park. If you reach a bend in the road and see a gas station, you’ve gone too far.GPS Coordinates:44.512390, -84.745719

By Boat or Watercraft:

We are located on the north side of Higgins Lake, east of North State Park and west of B&B Marina. We are easily identified by our distinctive wooden green painted cabins and the Lighthouse climbing tower on the shore. Our wooden dock to the right of the Lighthouse provides ample room for you to part your watercraft and walk right into our chapel.

Parking

If arriving by car, you will pull into our site and be immediately greeted by a team of our summer staff members. These staff members will guide you where to park and offer a shuttle service for those who are unable to make the journey through our camp.If arriving by boat, please feel free to anchor your boat in the shallow areas or tie onto our dock.

Dress Code

Worship with us in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. A casual dress code is in place so please come as you are.
